Initial Sample and Witness Sample Process

Initial Sample and Witness Sample Process

  • First Sample Production: Before starting production, first samples are produced in accordance with the design and technical specifications.
  • Witness Sample Record: These first samples are recorded as "witness samples" in our quality control system. These samples are the reference point of the production process and form the basis for measurement and control operations in the following processes
Industry Practices and Standards

Industry Practices and Standards

Weight and measurement controls of plastic products are carried out in accordance with industry standards and customer requirements. For example, ASTM D792 standard defines the determination of density and specific gravity of plastics and such tests are applied in our quality control processes.

Thanks to these comprehensive weight and measurement control processes, Teknika Plast Industrial continues to provide our customers with high quality, standard-compliant and reliable plastic products.

Mass Production and Continuous Control

•     Sampling: During the mass production phase, samples of products selected from the production are sent to the quality control department every day.
•     Measurement and Aesthetic Evaluation: Selected samples are measured in detail with caliper, height gauge, micrometer, angle gauge, external measuring caliper, depth caliper, hardness measuring device, gloss meter, paint thickness measuring device, shoremeter, balance measuring device, cross cut, alcohol test and other measuring equipment depending on the product type. In addition, aesthetic criteria (e.g. surface roughness, color harmony) are also evaluated.
•     Grammage Measurement: The grammage of the products is determined with precision scales and measuring devices. These measurements are critical to control the conformity of the products to design and quality standards.
•     Production Reporting: All measurement and control results are recorded in detailed reports. These reports are used to monitor the production process and make improvements when necessary.
